DescriptionIn this quarter you will find mostly larger plain apartment buildings, many of them built at the turn of the century and classified as historical monuments. Because of the rather low rents, the Westend is especially popular with less well off people, such as students and pensioners. Alongside the centre for small businesses, the "Gewerbehof", with its technology centre are a lot of workshops exspecially alongside the S-Bahn-route in the North.
