Prince-regent Luitpold invites you to a summer beergarden season on the edge of the English Garden. The bright yellow hunting palace built in 1810 is open from December to October. In the beergarden itself which seems lighter than the usual, because of the use of folding garden chairs rather than the usual wooden benches, one can eat good plain bavarian food. After a long bike ride or other athletic activities, the visitor is thankful for a hearty snack. Everything the Hofbräu brewry has to offer is available to drink. Younger guests are also catered for, a playarea with climbing frame, swings, see-saw and a carrousel make parents and children happy.
