DescriptionSince Germany's first research reactor, which is now closed down, was built in 1957 many reseach facilities have moved here including from Munich Technical University and Ludwig-Maximilian-University Munich. The newly built areas have increased because of hte sharp rise in population and the infrastructure and the standard of living has been improved through the building of social and cultural centres. Hochbrück is mostly industrial.
